Please note that any reliance on our vehicle history reports when making a purchasing decision is at your own risk. VinScanPro is not liable for any purchases or decisions made based on the use or non-use of our reports.

1. Conditions for a Refund

A refund will only be issued if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The refund request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction date.
  • The reason for the refund qualifies under the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Valid Reasons for a Refund

We may issue a refund for:

  • Receiving a blank or empty report
  • Being charged twice for the same vehicle report

3. Invalid Reasons for a Refund

Refunds will not be issued for the following:

  • Minor or major inaccuracies in reports (our data is sourced from third-party databases and provided "as is")
  • Missing or limited information in the report (data availability depends on external sources)
  • Delays in report generation or delivery
  • Failure to cancel a subscription before the renewal date

All subscription terms, including renewal policies and cancellation instructions, are clearly stated at the time of purchase and in our Terms & Conditions. Forgetting to cancel or failing to cancel on time does not constitute a valid refund reason.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe your case qualifies for a refund, email the following details to support@vinscanpro.com:

  • Email Subject: Refund Request
  • Your email address
  • Vehicle VIN associated with the report
  • Reason for the refund
  • Your first and last name
  • Date of purchase
  • Payment method used
  • Transaction ID (PayPal ID or last 4 digits of your card)

5. Additional Refund Terms (Trial Subscriptions & Auto-Renewals)

If your refund request is submitted after a subscription was activated, we reserve the right to deduct the value of one full vehicle report (currently $24.99) from the refunded amount.

6. Processing and Payment

  • Response time: We aim to review and respond to your request within 10 business days.
  • Refund method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, unless technical limitations prevent it.

  • This Refund Policy is not legal advice and does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
